Terms of Service

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Vunxa. Vunxa gives you a private computer with specialist assistants, storage, software, and related services. You may use it freely for lawful work, subject to these terms.

Full Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login details safe, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for having the rights and permissions needed for the files, data, domains, credentials, and instructions you use.

You must be legally able to enter a contract where you live. If you use Vunxa for someone else or for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

2. Your computer and your work

Your Vunxa computer is separate from your personal devices and isolated from other customers. You choose what to share with it, including whether a shared folder is read-only or writable where the product supports that choice.

You keep ownership and control of the content and rights you bring to Vunxa. We do not claim ownership of your content or lawful work. You give us only the permission needed to host, copy for recovery, transmit, process, display, and secure it while providing Vunxa, and to deal with abuse or legal requirements.

AI output may be inaccurate, similar to someone else’s output, or not protected by copyright. Check it before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, or other important decisions.

3. Lawful use

We want you to have broad freedom. You may use Vunxa for any lawful purpose that does not harm other people, the service, shared infrastructure, or an upstream provider. Content is not prohibited merely because it is unpopular, offensive, controversial, or politically sensitive.

You may not use Vunxa to:

  • break the law, commit fraud, evade sanctions, or infringe another person’s rights;
  • exploit children, create or distribute child sexual abuse material, or create non-consensual intimate material;
  • threaten, stalk, harass, traffic, exploit, or facilitate serious physical harm;
  • steal credentials, spread malware, phish, impersonate, create botnets, or access systems without permission;
  • attack, scan, overload, intercept, or disrupt systems or networks without permission;
  • run open proxies, mail relays, mass unsolicited messaging, or services that expose shared infrastructure to abuse;
  • mine cryptocurrency, evade billing or usage limits, or consume unreasonable shared resources; or
  • bypass account, billing, metering, sandbox, security, or provider safeguards.

Some features also have rules set by the provider delivering them. Those rules apply when you use that feature.

4. Privacy and support

We do not routinely inspect the files, conversations, or work of ordinary customers. If ordinary-customer support needs access, we ask for your explicit permission first and limit access to that support request. We may act without prior permission only when required by law or when necessary to address a credible security threat, abuse incident, or imminent serious harm.

By accepting a beta invitation, you agree to confidential team access to your workspace, work and conversations during your beta participation only, for evaluation and improvement. This access ends when your participation or the beta period ends. See beta access in our Privacy Policy.

Automated systems and the providers needed for features such as AI, hosting, authentication, payments, email, voice, images, or search may process the information needed to provide those features. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account if it breaks these terms, is used for abuse or fraud, creates a security risk, is not paid for, or must be restricted by law or a provider. We may act immediately when waiting would create a serious risk. Otherwise, we will normally contact you, explain the reason in general terms, and give you a reasonable chance to resolve it.

We may suspend an account while we investigate. We may terminate it if you do not respond to a reasonable request about a serious concern within the time stated in our message. We may refuse or end access without a refund for a serious breach, to the extent the law allows. Your mandatory consumer rights always apply.

You can cancel anytime. Your paid service continues until the end of the period you have paid for. At service end, working access stops. For memberships covered by the new service-end policy, we prepare and verify a final ZIP containing your work files, including any additional files you selected for backup before removing the computer. If preparation fails, removal waits. You can download the final ZIP from your account for 30 days after computer removal, without an active subscription. Conversations, memory and running apps are not part of that work download and are lost when the computer is removed. Your independent GitHub backup is not deleted. Existing memberships promised read-only retention keep that protection until an explicit policy transition is communicated.

Payment trouble pauses working access and stops compute while preserving the computer and data. A failed payment, including a subscription ended by failed collection, does not authorize automatic data deletion. Payment recovery restores eligibility on the same computer. We may restrict access immediately when necessary for law, security, serious abuse or a provider requirement; work retrieval remains available where safe and legally permitted.

6. Payment and cancellation

Your plan, price, taxes, included usage, and any optional extra usage are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal in Account settings. Your membership stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

Consumers keep the withdrawal, conformity, cancellation, reimbursement, and other rights that apply to digital services where they live. Any consent needed to start the service during a withdrawal period is shown at checkout.

You can request a ZIP of your work files from your account. Preparing it may wake your computer and use computer time. Once ready, new temporary work downloads normally remain available for about a day and are removed automatically. Downloads show when work was saved and may not include later changes. Previously saved automatic work copies remain kept while your computer data is retained; previously prepared manual downloads keep their displayed expiry. Final work downloads are available for 30 days from computer removal. After the displayed expiry, download access ends and retained work copies are removed. Work downloads are portable files, not full Vunxa recovery backups.

7. Backups and availability

Vunxa maintains machine-level recovery backups to help recover a private computer after a serious failure. They are not a permanent archive and may not contain every recent change. They do not replace your own backups of important work, external services, shared folders, third-party accounts, or anything you keep outside Vunxa.

GitHub or another repository can provide an additional backup for files you deliberately commit and push. It does not automatically back up your assistants, conversations, credentials, databases, untracked files, or entire computer.

Maintenance, outages, provider failures, security measures, network problems, and events outside our control can interrupt Vunxa. We do not promise uninterrupted availability unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

8. Changes and liability

Vunxa may change its features, providers, plans, prices, and these terms. Changes apply from their effective date and do not change what you have already paid for. We will give notice of material changes where the law requires it. Price changes apply to a later renewal, not retroactively.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or liability that cannot legally be removed. Subject to those rights, you are responsible for reviewing AI work and for the consequences of using your computer and its contents.

9. Contact and law

Your contract is with Serna Consulting (KvK 64372421; VAT ID NL002482005B61), trading as Vunxa. Dutch law applies where permitted, while consumers may also rely on mandatory protections and courts in their country of residence.
